Dr. Md Abdus Salam is a highly accomplished and versatile professional with over 30 years of experience in school administration, teaching, research, planning, programming, and evaluating educational programs within various schools in Nunavut and Ontario. In addition, he has nine years of experience working as a principal at Inuujaq School, Nunavut. His vital leadership insight and making Inuujaq School a culturally relevant school made him receive Canada’s Outstanding Principal award in 2016. Dr. Salam worked as a Teacher and Principal at Inuujaq School from 2007 to 2019. In addition, he was the principal at Kattawapiskak Elementary School and is now the principal at Neskantaga Education Centre, a federally funded First Nation School in Northern Ontario.
