Charlotte Neckoway

Charlotte Neckoway is from Fort Hope, known as Eabametoong First Nation. She resides in Thunder Bay with her husband Raymond and family. Charlotte holds a Masters of Education degree from Lakehead University, and for over 33 years she worked in Education at different capacities. This year, Charlotte retired from full time teaching, and continues to supply teach. She is a mentor for two teacher programs with the Elementary Teacher Federation of Ontario (ETFO) and is a committee member on ETFO’s Indigenous Education Standing Committee (ETFO) and is Chair of Native Languages with the First Nation Metis Inuit Education Association of Ontario (FNMIEAO). She keeps busy volunteering for two local organizations and spending time with her family. Charlotte’s mission is to develop resources for new Native Language teachers and has a keen interest in languages nests and immersion programming. Miiwe gaye Miigwech
