Alicia Diaz-Pappas is the Programs Coordinator supporting schools in Manitoba, Nunavut, and Saskatchewan. She applies knowledge from her degree in agriculture and food security, and from her certificate in Indigenous Knowledges and Culture to her everyday work at the Breakfast Club of Canada. Grounded in the non-profit sector, she has worked in food security, food justice, and school food, and brings these learnings to the schools she works with. Beyond her professional role, she finds joy in gardening and cooking, seamlessly connecting personal interests with her work.
